Welcome to The Lyme Trust
The Lyme Trust is a charitable organisation which was set up in 1974 to support people with varying degrees of mental health needs. The Lyme Trust endeavours to give people a high quality of life as well as a high standard of support. As part of the Voluntary Sector, we have access to a wide network of support and information that enables us to keep up to date with current practices and legislation.
The Lyme Trust is a voluntary committee led organisation, whom with a variety of experiences; bring a rich cultural element to the Trust. The committee meets on a regular basis with the management team, to discuss any issues that require their input.
Through referrals from other agencies, service users are placed in either full board or self catering accommodation, all in single rooms until they have the skills and confidence to progress onto a more independent lifestyle.

Philosophy of Care & Support
The Lyme Trust endeavours to provide a caring and supportive environment in which people can reside for as long as they require. All service users will be treated with respect, dignity and equality irrespective of their race, culture, beliefs or sexual orientation. The Lyme Trust will provide psychological, emotional and social support for all service users to encourage independence, and self motivation in all areas of their lives.
